Living Streets Team

City Agency Liaisons
Lead by the departments of Public Works and Community Planning & Development, the Living Streets Initiative brings together eight City agencies to unify efforts to redevelop key transportation corridors in support of the vision expressed in Blueprint Denver, the multi-modal goals of the Strategic Transportation Plan, and the sustainability goals of the Greenprint Denver Climate Action Plan.

Living Streets Task Force
Comprised of advocates for youth and seniors, the physically disabled, pedestrian and bicycle access, transportation management, public transit, and local business districts; public health professionals; economic development specialists; neighborhood organizations; and government agencies, the Task Force was created to advise the Initiative.

Contractors
Through generous grants from the US EPA, Kaiser Permanente Colorado, Colorado Department of Local Affairs Smart Growth Office, and the City of Denver Environmental Health Department, the Living Streets Initiative has been able to receive professional assistance and expertise.
